Gidget & Cosmo Puppies

Born on March 10, 2007, two adorable girls!!
Gidget rests after whelping her two lovely girl babies, she is a super mom, very attentive, she certainly could have benefitted having more puppies!
Our Girls
Temptation Litter 2007
Cosmo's Kids
Week 1
Nick named the "Twins" because they are a litter of two, these girls could be clones at this age, takes a good eye to tell them apart. Without any competition for food they are growing quickly and could soon be little porkers.
Week 2
Gidget's "twin" girls are just that, rollie - pollie and contented.  Their eyes opened and they are even cuter than before.  They both have nice stops and domey skulls for the makings of gorgeous head pieces like their parents, particularly Cosmo's pedigree can be thanked for that influence.
Week 3
The Twins are now close to 4 lbs each!  They are stumbling around and have wagged their little tails.  They have become more vocal now that their ears are open and they are hearing sounds, once in a while one will do a tiny growl at a noice, so cute.  Since they are gaining in size and weight no need to start solid foods yet.  They have discovered toys, so comical to watch them play.
.
Week 4
At just a few days short of 4 weeks the twins get a visit from 7 month old Ava Schuler with her parents Eric and Jackie. Ava loves the puppies but is truly facinated with momma Gidget, Gidget was not to certain Ava should be in with her puppies, but she was tolerant and kept a watchful eye on the situation.  Eric and Jackie will take their puppy home the first weekend of May at 8 weeks of age.  This weekend the puppies will get moved to a big x-pen in a room next to the big dogs.  Lots of new life to be discovered for these little girls, they are really getting fun, tails are going all the time!
Week 5
Gidget's twins get separate trips outside on a warm day at 5 weeks.  One of them played with a baby pigeon until she really started to "take it apart".
Week 6 & 7
During the 6 to 7 week period the "twins" started going outside to "potty".  They were really good about waiting and letting me know quite vocally it was time.  They both enjoyed running with the big dogs who tolerated them very well.  These two girls have been a joy!
Week 8
As planned Eric & Ava came to get their bundle of joy, 8 week old Jersey. Mom Jaclyn had to be the responsible Dentist on Sat. morning, so she had much to look forward to when she got home!  I'm sure Jersey & Ava have kept Eric hopping all day, wonder if he got a nap when they did!  Luckily Jersey lives maybe 20 minutes away so she will get to come out and work birds this summer, we will be looking forward to seeing both she and Ava's growth.  Jersey's new sibling Ava is quite the cutie herself, I'm sure the pair will have fun bonding and getting into trouble.
Born on November 16, 2007, two adorable boys and 4 lovely girls!!
Gidget is very relaxed knowing just how to raise her perfect pups!  She looks ready for the challenge.
Week 1
Gidget's babies are looking plump at two days, without the ribbons it's almost impossible to tell them apart.
At 4 days, their heads and faces are begining to take on some very cute characterisitics.
By 6 days old, the baby Vs motor around searching for mommy when hungrey otherwise remaining quietly content.
Brinklee
Week 2
Gidget's babies are right on track, their eyes have begun to open at 2 weeks of age.  Soon their ears will be open and fully functioning.  Now we can really see how pretty the heads are on these babies. This is a lovely litter.
Week 3
Gidget's six babies are adorable, they love for us to cuddle them, human touch is nice!  They make cute uncoordinated attempts at wrestling and playing, much more fun to watch then just eating and sleeping. They change so quickly, one blink and more changes.  They enjoyed introducing of the first toys, soon they will have  a box full of toys.
Week 4
Gidget's babies moved into another room with a TV for new noises, barking of the adult dogs, phones ringing, etc.  They have much space to run and play.  These Temptation kids dove into their kibble, so in a couple of weeks they will be weaned.
Week 5
Gidget & Greer's puppies became combined at this age, Greer developed mastitis and nursed her puppies separately which her mammary gland healed and Gidget slept with all the babies and plays the disciplinarian.  After the holidays, we will be taking puppies to different areas of the house and playing with the pheasant wing and do more socializing.  They are having a ball all together, this step of joining has been fun socialization for them all.

Week 7
Temptation Litter on Sunday Jan.6th, 2008.  7 weeks and 3 days old.  They are staying rather consistent since the last photos, with the exception of them being naughtier to try and get them stacked and photograph.  No promises that we can get this done at 8 weeks.

It was "warm" enough for some snow to thaw so we took the babies for their first outing.  They ran, played and checked out their world.  When they got too cold we all went in to warm and have some doggie biscuits.  At that point we just were to tired to stay awake.  Wow we can't wait to go to our new homes and adventures!
Week 8 / 2008
Lime Green girl went home to her new best friend Avery.  This looks like a match made in Heaven!  How fun for both Tempe and Avery, I can't wait to see if Avery starts dressing Tempe in costumes.  Won't that be fun...
Next weekend (Jan. 19) four more puppies will go home.  We will be holding back 4 to grow up and evaluate later for show & field, busy busy times!
Week 9 / 2008
At 8 to 9 weeks the puppies get out and about with some of our adult dogs for fun and romping.  "Dad" gives kisses and hugs over the dog room dutch door.
David and Amanda were very excited to meet their new baby boy whom they will call Hudson.  Hudson is very lucky, his new "Mom & Dad" are going to "spoil" him and make his life so special.  To top it off going to Georgia during this nasty cold January weather will seem like Heaven!
Week 10/ 2008
This is Calley's day!  Her new "Mom & Dad" came down from MN to pick her up.  I think she is a lucky little girl, her Dad Randy is retired now and will have tons of time to spend with her.  Randy is anxious to get her outdoors on their lovely property so she can get into the local Grouse population!

Juicee
Gage
These are the four we kept at just over 3 months old.
Tempe all stacked up at 13 weeks in Melissa's kitchen, looking nicely balanced for her age.
Tempe stacked again at 14 weeks, looking more relaxed and staying together, good job Melissa!
BRRrrr it is cold everywhere but little Calley isn't letting it get her down!  Dad Randy looks plenty bundled up, still we could use warm weather, won't these puppies really have a blast when they can be out for longer runs.
I think Tempe could show her littermates how this pointing is done.  She looks "locked & loaded"!!
Juicee on the left and Gage to the right.  We had a snow day on St. Pats, the temperature was decent so out we went to play with some Pigeons.  We learned that when birds are disturbed they get away by flying!   We pointed long enough for some photos.
Melissa has Tempe stacked nicely at 4 .5 months of age.  Her face is adorable!
